Issue:

An unknown error has occurred during batch posting to your accounts system

Error message:

UNHANDLED EXCEPTION FROM SAGE.  PART POSTING OF BATCH MAY HAVE OCCURRED.  CHECK SAGE FOR TRANSACTIONS FROM THIS BATCH.

Cause:

Unknown, Sage has errored in a way that Sage's own error handling cannot return a reason

Resolution:

Log out of Synergist and Sage, log back in to Synergist and Sage.

Check Sage to see if any invoices in the batch have been posted successfully.

1) No entries in the batch are present in Sage.
Re-post the batch from Synergist.  This can be done irrespective of the batch being flagged as posted or unposted in Synergist

2) Some, but not all entries in the batch have made it to Sage
If the batch is marked as posted in Synergist, de-batch those entries which are NOT present in Sage, create a new batch of these entries and post the new batch

If the batch is still unposted in Synergist contact helpdesk for advice on how to proceed.  The entries which have not been posted to Sage can be de-batched and posted, as above, but the remaining items in the original, unposted batch need to be dealt with.

3) All entries in the batch are present in Sage
If the batch is marked as posted in Synergist no further action is necessary

If the batch is still unposted in Synergist contact helpdesk for advice on how to proceed.
